Craig just received a phone call from one of Braxton's nurses. It made me nervous when he told me she called. Here is where he is at...
**Ventilator is being turned down to 30 - however he was breathing above and beyond 30 for quite some time now. They are talking that they will be taking the vent tube out tonight. YEAH!!!!
**They are going to take him off of the medicine that has kept him sedated for the last 3 days also tonight.
**They completed the spinal tap in the last hour and we should hear the results in the next couple of hours. I am praying for a clear scan.
**If all goes well I should be able to hold my BABY BOY again tonight. Reminder - I have not held him since Wednesday night and it was for only about 15-20 min. It brings lots of HAPPY tears to my eyes.
**I will be going to stay over night with him tonight and come back home tomorrow. There has been a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders.
I will be updating from the hospital hopefully tonight.
Thanks Again for the continued prayers, thoughts, offers for help, etc... We will definitely let you know if we need some help.

Great news!!! I can't begin to understand what it would feel like to be in your place. I admire your strength and that's the strength that will help you get through this!!! Have fun holding your newest little blessing tonight and know we continue to pray for him to come home soon!

Tifanie & Craig, our prayers go out to your son. The days can get so long when you are waiting for answers, but it sounds like Braxton is a fighter. Talking about holding your son brings tears to my eyes because it was not so many days ago when Kari was finally able to hold Johnnie. The mother/baby bond is precious. Our prayers are with you. Deb

Sending our love and prayers your way! Snuggle and smell your baby tonight, that will help to ease your mind. They are miracles in every way shape and form.

Thanks for the great update Tiffanie. All that sounds so positive. I can remember the first time Kari got to hold Johnnie we all cried so I can feel what you are going through because we were just there. It is amazing what a little fighter his is. Stay strong you are doing a great job. Keep praying and God is awesome and he is holding Braxton tight right now. Hope you are having a great night, try to get some sleep because I know it is really tough sleeping there so much noise. Sending our prayers.
We are so happy to hear that Braxton is doing well, and that you will be able to hold him soon! He is in great hands in the NICU. We still feel that we owe those dr's and nurses so much for caring for our boys for the 2 weeks that they were there. They were amazing and we were so blessed to have them caring for our children. We are thinking of you daily, and praying for Braxtons speedy welcome into your home! Take Care, Friends
